Application for the Visa Accelerator Program 2024 is now available for Indian Fintech Companies

Visa announced the opening of the application process for the fourth iteration of the Visa Accelerator Program. Through partnership with Visa's payment specialists, the program seeks to empower Indian companies to realize their full potential for growth. The Artificial Intelligence (AI), Global Money Movement, and Loyalty of the Future are the three new opportunity areas that are highlighted in the 2024 edition. Particular attention is paid to Embedded Finance and Digital Acceptance for Micro, Small, and Medium Businesses (MSMBs).

"We are delighted to invite up-and-coming payment innovations of the country to the Visa Accelerator Program and power their solutions with Visa," said Sandeep Ghosh, Group Country Manager, Visa India and South Asia, during the program's debut. By working with our subject matter experts, the Program gives businesses a rare chance to improve and test their ideas with real-world opportunities, creating a growth runway. By facilitating smooth, secure money transfers through satisfying payment experiences, we hope to propel the next wave of momentum for international payments.

Designed specifically for businesses at the critical growth stage, the program will focus on product solutioning, proof of concept development, and expedited commercialization, providing entrepreneurs with the tools they need for future cooperation and faster expansion. Through the initiative, a chosen cohort of companies from the Asia-Pacific area will tackle changing issues within the payment ecosystem. In order to pursue concrete go-to-market prospects, they will also collaborate to co-develop, test, and refine innovative solutions and take advantage of Visa's vast network of financial institutions, retailers, and digital partners.

The Visa Accelerator Program was introduced in 2020 and has steadily provided advanced stage businesses with access to cutting edge technology, seasoned mentors, and investment opportunities. Transpure and Twid, two of the seven firms that were chosen in 2023, are situated in India.

The program's application period for this edition began on January 8, 2024, and ends on March 8, 2024. The program will run from May to November 2024 for the chosen firms, with a Demo Day at the end.
